Communication Solutions for Aircraft Ground Support, Business, and Public Safety

Your communication system will work smoothly when you use Maxon® products from Copper Communication Solutions in Yakima, Washington. Choose from a wide range of communication products with a variety of applications.

Extension Cables

Copied but never equaled, our cables are based on superior designs and materials and consistently out-last and out-perform the competition. They're fully shielded against electronic interference, and with our chemical- and-UV-resistant and bright yellow jacket, our cables offer communication quality and service life that is second to none.

Our cable ends incorporate the best available protection for the jacks and plugs with superior strain reliefs to ensure secure connections to the cable while offering ease of service when required. All cables include service hooks to eliminate undue strain on aircraft intercom connectors.

Headset & Cable Testers

Make sure your intercom headsets and cables are functioning properly. Our testers are pocket-sized and use a single nine-volt battery. It is activated when the plug is inserted.

Data Radios

Get a three-year warranty on the popular Maxon SD-125EU2. It has been updated with new circuitry, through-hole tuning and alignment, Windows-based programming software, and RoHS compliance. The pricing includes the radio only. Antennas and signaling components are sold separately. Take advantage of our radio programming service, which is free with the purchase of four or more radios.

Cable Retraction System

Our cable retraction system (CRS) offers all the benefits of wireless systems at a cost that is less, in the long term, than conventional extension cables, and is more reliable than either. The CRS keeps the communication link off the ground and free from becoming entangled or overrun. Unlike other cable reels, the CRS does not incorporate brushes or similar rubbing contacts for electrical continuity that wear or become contaminated.

Instead, the CRS utilizes a patented, continuous, hard-wired connection that has no rubbing or sliding contacts. It also includes our exclusive Break-away Cable that protects both the aircraft and the CRS from damage due to over-extension of the retractile cable. In addition, the quick-connect feature of the Break-away Cable facilitates instant, in-service repair of the most common failure of ground-to-cockpit communication systems, which is damage to the connector that plugs into the aircraft. The CRS is compatible with all pushback headsets.
